- To make the raita, squeeze any excess liquid from the grated cucumber and mix the ingredients together. Leave to one side until needed.
- Heat a little oil in a large saucepan or wok. Add the onions and fry until they begin to soften.
- Add the mince and fry until no longer pink.
- Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve with naan bread, mango chutney and the raita
